It’s me Clemmie! I am something of a jack of all trades or ‘multi-hyphenate’: A Consultant-Creative-Director/Strategist-Instagrammer-Blogger-Fundraiser-Campaigner, oh and also a Wife and Mother of three.
Most recently (prior to Maternity Leave) I worked as a Creative Strategist at Facebook/Instragram helping brands do brave and impactful work across the platforms. Prior to that I spent 13 years in Top London Advertising Agencies (Grey London, BMB) as a Creative Director.
I also organise biannual ‘Mother of All Meets Ups’ for Creatives who are also Mums. Only 14% of senior creatives are women. I statistic I am keen to shift!
Back in 2015 I started a ‘side-hustle’ sharing a frank, open and humorous account of the realities of trying to navigate parenting and a career. I did this via Instagram (@clemmie_telford) and a blog called Motherofalllists.coms
In doing so creates a forum and network for other Mum’s to have discussion driven by Clemmie’s openess. She is particularly passionate about supporting mental health, body image, balancing careers and kids.
I am particularly proud that my social channels have become a safe space for other women to not only have their voices heard but also have open conversations about the most difficult and diverse subjects. Everything from mental health to infertility, work/life balance to baby loss. No topic off limits and all opinions welcome.
Recently my passion project has become something of main-hustle. Earning me a place on stages including at Stylist Live, Hay Festival, pieces in National Newspapers, several podcasts and relationships with some of my favorite brands. As well as enabling me to be an ambassador and fundraiser for some incredible charities: Tommy’s the Baby Charity, Standup2Cancer and The Redbox Project.
Now I see myself as a Creative Consultant, combining my skills learned in Advertising and expert knowledge from Facebook, with ‘frontline’ social media experience to offer brands a ‘top to bottom’ package. Everything from creative strategy, digital best practise, right through to implementation of #ad’s on my social channels.
My career is a moveable feast, expanding and changing all the time, which is occasionally daunting, but most of all it’s really exhilarating and fulfilling.
